Version 9.28 is now available for download.

Update on version 9.28 inlcudes update on exportable reports.  You can now export "Inactive only student list and phone number".  The student age now prints out on the Birtday printout.  We have also fixed the format on the Class Billing Option Screen to show "2" zero instead of "4".

How To Configure Studio Manager to Run With Your Operating System:

Setting Studio Manager to run as an Administrator:

(For Windows 7 and Windows Vista Users)

  • Right click on your Studio Manager Icon and click “Properties”.

  •  Then, click on the “Compatibility” tab:

  • Check the box “Run this program in compatibility mode for”.  Then, change the Compatibility mode to “Windows XP (Service Pack 2)”.
  • Check the box “Run this program as an administrator” in the Privilege Level section (3rd circle)

 Next:

 Setting up User Permission:

  •  Click on the “Security” tab: 
  • Make sure that the User has “Full Control” access to the software.  Highlight the User and make sure that the check mark is on “allow” for the “Full Control” for the User (Also check the “administrator” user and make sure they have Full Control as well).

If the user does not have Full control access:

  • Highlight User then click “Edit”

  • Highlight the User you want to modify then, check the “Allow” box next to the “Full Control” Access:

  • After doing all of the changes, click “Apply”

Setting Up Studio Manager’s Firewall Exception:

  •  Click “Start” then, Click on “Control Panel”

Once you are in your Control Panel, click on “Windows Firewall” (if your control Panel does not look like this.  Change your view to “Classic View”)

  • Click on “Allow a Program through Windows firewall”

 Once you click the link.  A pop up will appear saying “Windows need your permission to continue” Just click “Continue” to bring you to the “Windows Firewall Setting”

Now, go to the Exceptions Tab:

 If you don’t see Studio Manager on the list, click the “Add Program” button.

  • Highlight Studio Manager and click the ”OK” button.

Verify that Studio Manager is now on the list with a check mark on the box next to it.  Click “Apply” to finish up the set up.

 Now you’re done!

With this release, you can now automatically back up your Studio Manager data to secure online servers. Your data is archived on our servers for you to restore from Home, the Studio or any copy of Studio Manager that you link into your account. By using Secure Online Backup, you can easily transport your data between computers, and also keep it safe from viruses, crashing PCs and other unexpected events.
